Flipkart New Rate Card Released Effective from 18th May 24

Flipkart has introduced a new rate card for sellers, starting May 18, 2024. This new plan is all about making things simpler and clearer for sellers, helping them save money and grow their business.
Here’s what you need to know about it:

1. Clear Pricing: The old pricing plan had four parts (fixed, commission, collection, shipping), but the new one has just two parts (fixed + commission). This makes it easier for sellers to understand and manage their costs.
2. Better Deals: With this new plan, sellers get more competitive rates, meaning they can save money while still staying competitive in the market.
3. Value for Customers: This new plan lets sellers offer better deals to their customers, helping their business grow. Plus, it keeps things transparent, so sellers always know where they stand.
4. Fair Shipping Costs: The shipping policy has been updated to be fairer and more transparent. Shipping small items locally won’t cost extra, but there might be a surcharge for heavier items or national shipping.
5. Cheaper Fulfillment: Sellers can now get better rates for Fulfillment by Flipkart (FBF), which helps them manage their operations more efficiently and get products to customers faster.
6. Express Air Shipping: There’s now an option for express air shipping, so sellers can get products to customers even quicker. sellers has to reach out to their Flipkart account manager to set it up.
7. More Returns on Ads: Flipkart expects business to boom with this new plan, so they’re offering special advertising deals to help sellers make the most of it. You could get up to 20% higher returns on ads in May, and even get ad credits in June, July, and August when you spend a certain amount in May.
- Experience up to 20% higher ROI with Single Click campaigns in May, exclusively for Apparel.
- Receive Rs 3,000 worth of Ad credits in June, July & August when you spend Rs 10,000 (PLA/PCA) in May.
- Receive Rs 1,500 worth of Ad credits in June, July & August when you spend Rs 5,000 (PLA/PCA) in May.
To make sure everything runs smoothly with these changes, sellers might notice some tweaks to customer-facing features. If you have any questions or concerns, just reach out to the Flipkart seller support team.
Oh, and one more thing: to really take advantage of this opportunity, sellers should stick to Flipkart’s service standards. No cancellations or breaches.
Flipkart is confident that these updates will make selling on their platform even better. If sellers need any help, their seller support team and account managers will assist them.
